The 2023 simulated cataract surgery training will take place at the department of ophthalmology, University of Nairobi. The two weeks training is currently targeting the 2nd year students Masters of Ophthalmology students before they start their real life training. The aim of the training is to enable the students have acquired enough surgical skills using artificial eyes before they can attempt surgery in real patients
